I'm about to do the same. I get so fed up with Microsoft forcing us to use what they deem we want. I want nothing to do with AI. I'm tired of trying to do a search and the first 10 results are different AI stories.

I've tried doing this before and haven't been successful, but if it won't delete, I'll buy a barebones laptop and install Linux from there.

I tried that Ubuntu **** years ago. Not again. I'll try Open Source again but not Ubuntu - or are you telling me you're using it in Windows 10 or 11 and you love it?
