Do you mean the classic version of Microsoft Word...not 365?

I don't have CoPilot on my task bar; I've never checked it out. I've never used it.

It now comes up every time I start a WORD document.

I do not want Copilot on my Windows 10 PC.
How do I remove this horror of a disk-space-waster?

I subscribe to Microsoft Office for £104.99 every year including VAT.
Yet I cannot control what software I agree to have running on my PC?!

I tried uninstalling Copilot but it pops up everywhere.
    Please advise.

I agree completely! No, it does NOT remove the stupid icon, and no matter how many times I turn off ALL of the settings in Options and everywhere else, that stupid CoPilot **** still comes on. I am so sick and tired of Microsoft ruling everything without asking! I wonder if they will ever figure out that we do despise dictators!
