error code x80070643 can't update

what's the point of an error code if you won't even bother to explain it?

No these steps didn't work for me. Reading through all the answers it does look like it (Maybe) related to my Recovery partition, which I don't have. I tried setting up a recovery partition - I've followed three videos on YouTube about creating this partition and ALL at one stage or another differ from what is happening on my computer, so it fails.
