Windows 10 22h2 security update [KB5034441] fails to install with code: 0x80070643 problem was solved for me with reinstallation of Windows 10 using the Media Creation tool . Took about 5 hours . But the security update that has been giving everyone problems downloaded on the second try . I have , over the last 2 days , been checking for updates to see if it really worked and it appears in the control panel as downloaded . I want to thank that guy who suggested that fix . I did not do a clean install . I kept my files and apps

    Not according to the partition manager

    Which you can't take serious. Everybody has 100 % free on every Recovery, EFI System and Linux partition according to disk management.

    And the actual values of the Recovery Partition are:

    Why even push a security update to people if it requires that they scour the internet for ways of making adjustments to system settings in order to install the update? Seems like a like a IT failure or at least a PR failure. Kind of sloppy.

    sitrep: its been 7 months and this pesky update is still sitting on my update window and I haven't found a way to fix it that doesn't involve me cosplaying as an IT guy and messing with my settings. Has anyone been able to find a solution that doesn't involve modifying settings? Has microsoft put out an official statement regarding this update?
