2024-10-05T19:48:04+00:00 Bought a brand new MSI Prestige laptop with Windows 11. The camera WAS working when I first opened it but it did a large number of Windows updates in the first day and since then the camera is not even being discovered.#
A Windows update has broken it. Looks like 1000+ people with this issue. Needs Microsoft to take notice and fix else a bunch of people will be returning laptops to the retailer for replacements.

Go to Windows Update then Update History. Look for an update to the Camera Detect and AVStream drivers and roll those back to the original.
