2024-11-16T13:57:04+00:00 The solution is not as simple as Estrella states. The issue is the current Microsoft provided drivers for Camera Sensor and AVStream are defective. Users have to revert to earlier versions after an update to restore access to their built in cameras. See my many posts on this error. I have proven through regression testing which versions work and which do not. I now have blocked the ones that work from being changed.

2024-11-16T07:12:02+00:00 Hi GodfreyJeremiah,
My name is Estrella, and I'm a Microsoft user like you. I'll be more than happy to help.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having this trouble. Are you using a laptop or a desktop computer?
Method 1: Locate a button on your keyboard featuring a camera symbol, typically on the F1-F12 keys.
Similar to this:
https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.JDIWtfGA4gfWgwhPE...Press that key or Fn + the camera logo key to enable the camera and then you can use it again.
Method 2: Check for a Camera switch button just like the image here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cam...
Method 3: Press the Windows key + X, and choose Device Manager.
In Device Manager, expand Cameras or Imaging Devices, right-click your camera, and select Uninstall Device.
Ensure to tick "Delete driver software for this device" when prompted.
Restart your PC; Windows will reinstall the drivers automatically.
Check if the issue is resolved.
I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any more questions, feel free to reply to this message. Thank you
