Thanks, at least I know it’s not me. It does throw off programs that rely on geolocation, such has healthcare plans that try to find services near you. This is a big potential legal issue for Microsoft.
Location Issue on my laptop with Windows 11

From my Microsoft Account profile page, if I click "Find my device" or "Show my location" in Bing Map (Default map comes with Windows) it shows my current location in Seattle, even though my laptop is in Toronto Canada. However, if I open my browser and open Bing map or Google Maps, it shows my correct location. Also to solve this issue I tried reinstalling Windows twice, using a VPN to set my location the same as where I live, I ran Windows troubleshooter multiple times. I can't think of any more troubleshooting steps on my own.

2024-05-23T15:39:12+00:00 This did not work at all. MANY of us are dealing with this same issue after Windows updates. I've contacted support on multiple occasions and had them access my computer to no avail. Eventually the problem resolved itself on my tablet but is now occurring on the desktop pc after a windows update. The weather widget and maps places me in Olathe, KS vs. Sacramento, CA (correct). I also ran an IP address check that confirms I'm in Sacramento. SFC /SCANNOW and other commands are useless. Microsoft: FIX THIS.

In the meantime, I'll provide some network setup related troubleshooting options to help you try to solve the problem：
- Search CMD, open and find the command prompt (run in administrator mode) In the command box that pops up, enter the following commands in order (after each line has finished running, enter the next one) ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset netsh winhttp reset proxy Restart the computer to see if the problem can be solved.
- Tap windows+R, type inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click Connections, tap LAN Settings, check if the Proxy Server column is checked, if it is, uncheck it and tap OK, restart your computer after applying it to see if you can solve the problem.
