I cannot see mouse pointer on my Window 11 laptop. What should I do?

My model is Lenovo Yoaga series. I left it in tablet mode and let it sleep for a night. When I try to use it in the morning, I can only use touchscreen option. I have tried methods like going to control panel, settings, device manager, but it still doesn't work. Or maybe I could be doing wrong as well. Can someone advise me how to bring the cursor back?

I had a disappearing curser in any text box. I just happened to disable the touchscreen on my laptop in device manager as I found it intensely annoying and don't need a touchscreen, and now I have my curser in text boxes back!

Obviously this is no good if you want to keep your touchscreen functionality but if you don't try this.

The icon on this key looks like a rectangle (screen) with a slash through it.

Months later this description helped me when my cat turned my laptop into a bed.

    Hi All,

I've been having the same issue with a 'disappearing cursor', if you will, for the past two days. The suggestions on this Forum were insightful, but did not correct the issue. However, the following did: Start --> Settings --> Bluetooth & Devices --> Typing Touchpad in the Find a setting dialog box --> Turn the touchpad on or off --> Toggling the On/Off Button to 'On'; how it turned off in the first place is still unknown, although I suspect some inadvertent sequence of pressed keys did so; I hope this helps. :)

    Sid
