How do I stop "Show news and interests on the taskbar" from turning on?

Whenever I turn off the "Show news and interests on the taskbar" setting, it eventually turns itself back on. While it is off, it works properly, disappearing from my taskbar. But then around 10 minutes later, it reappears on my taskbar with the setting being turned back on.

2024-03-15T00:34:05+00:00 Thank you for trying. Please right-click on a blank area of the Taskbar, select 'News and Interests' from the context menu, and uncheck everything, including 'Open on hover'. Let me know the result. Thank you.

2024-04-09T16:36:36+00:00 Ideally you shouldn't need to change the registry. I am thinking that there may be a bug.
Please tag me and submit a feedback if you face any issues with News and Interests. It's my team and I may be able to help isolate and fix the issues.
