I tried to change my taskbar size in the regedit, but it didn't change anything.
Window 11 Taskbar size
Hello! I recently updated my Windows 10 to Windows 11. However, the taskbar size is too small, and I have followed various methods to fix it but to no avail. Can you please help me fix this issue?

2024-11-20T19:58:14+00:00 WHY WAS THIS ABILITY REMOVED?!
Why can I not resize the taskbar so that I can stack apps?! I HATE apps combining and not showing what is open (i.e., just an icon). I have multiple e-mails, Excel, Word, chats, etc. open at the same time and need the QUICKEST way to get to them. Resizing the taskbar is that solution. Windows 11 is maddening. There is absolutely no improvement for the "regular" user - maybe there is for more technical folks. But I would argue that is the not the majority of their users.
The other ridiculous and nonsensical prohibition is the Quick Launch toolbar!
I understand why more and more organizations are moving to Apple products.

2024-11-06T14:57:52+00:00 This works just fine for me, and in fact, I'm happy to also be able to downscale the size of texts in apps globally via this setting. The large scale came by default has been giving me hard time until I read this advise. Thank you!

2024-11-02T03:56:17+00:00 I have a new laptop with windows 11 (Oct 2024) the screen is 7 and 1/2 inches high and the taskbar is 1/2 inch high.
Winaero tweaker does not work.
Why would the new windows 11 have an adjustable taskbar height?
I hope someone finds a work around soon. Wouldn't rely on microsoft dummies.
The only current patch solution is to hide the taskbar, which is annoying.
