I managed to sort mine by resurrecting my dead phone (which was not easy, and involved a lot of cables and swearing). Once I had it alive I could sign out of PC Link on the phone, which removed it from my PC.

I have my old device that I'm able to operate. Do you remember what steps you took and in what order? I've clicked on Sign out and unlink account on the Link to Windows app on my phone but it doesn't remove it from my PC.

I think that's pretty much all I did - sign out and unlink on phone. I think I may also have signed out of PC Link on my PC and then signed back in before the old phone disappeared from the list.

Disabling the no longer used phone will hopefully remove it from Phone Link. Also you could have provided the URL so we users could go directly to the required site. Thank you nonetheless, Adrian.

    Hello,

I found a solution by myself that works.

Just download and install an old phone link app, for example

    phone-link-1-24022-69-0.appxbundle

    from https://phone-link.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/127488292

or from anywhere you can find an older version before (April 2024)

and follow the onscreen instructions to overwrite the newer app already installed in your windows.

You can install this older app by right clicking the downloaded file and selecting install.

This will allow you to delete the old device as the delete option will be available.

Then you can update phone link to the latest version using windows update.

    Spyros
