    We know this.

We don't have our old phones.

    That's the issue.

I just found a solution that worked for me in Android., but need to have access to your old phone

in your "old phone" Search for "link to windows" app, open it... and go to "linked account", and select "sign out and unlink account"

Then logout of the Phone Link app in windows, and login back, the old device will be gone.

I created a completely new MS accound email and guess what it came back straight away...

Know issue - but not important enough.

Yep, I'm having the same issue. I just traded in my Galaxy for a Pixel 9 Pro. Love the phone, but now I can't get rid of the Galaxy in the list. I tried going to the Microsoft site as was suggested earlier in this thread and it doesn't even show up there. After reading outdated articles, googling and reading this 8 page thread for the last hour I'm very frustrated to find that there is literally no solution.

This issue and all the various irritating BS about MS Edge (which no one wants to use) and being regularly bugged to subscribe to Microsoft services when I log in has made me very disappointed in Windows 11. I'm heavily considering just swapping over to Ubuntu and using a Windows Emulator for things I can't get around needing Windows for. I'm 1000% sure there's an open source version of this that works with the Linux based Android OS without all the issues.

My problem is that my phone link shows my old phone and my new phone. And I no longer have the old phone to make any changes on. My app on my PC does not have a delete device option and I cannot delete the app in my old phone. I was going to uninstall and re-install the phone link app on my PC, but it is not in the lists of apps or uninstallable programs.
