This is ridiculous. Computers shouldn't come with a mode installed that means you are severely limited to what software and apps you can install, period. Personally I'm sending this pos Windows laptop back where it came from.
Windows 11 - Can't switch out of S mode
When I follow the steps in the Microsoft Store to try to switch out of S mode, all I get is a message:
"Something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade"
and a Try Again button.

Reading with interest. New windows 11 laptop arrived this morning, also trapped in S mode. I downloaded all available updates per suggestions. Still trapped in S mode. Would appreciate suggestions, thank you!
