Windows 11 - Can't switch out of S mode

When I follow the steps in the Microsoft Store to try to switch out of S mode, all I get is a message:

"Something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade"

and a Try Again button.

    i cant install any app because it said "we have a problem in our end try again later"

    I kept trying over several days (at different times of day and night) and several restarts and I was finally able to switch out of S-mode. I wish you the best!

    I have been trying for a month - reinstalling, updating, creating new accounts. NOTHING works.

    For me it worked.

    Try to download new installation
