When I follow the steps in the Microsoft Store to try to switch out of S mode, all I get is a message:

"Something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade"

and a Try Again button.

That's great news. Now I'm trying to let Microsoft update to Windows 23H from 22H, without success! Not even sure if I need to !

But they did say update available. Note... after just 24hrs with 22H!

IT FINALLY WORKED. i have wasted more than a day trying to get out of this ****. the installation of all updates windows update has offered me helped, probably. or it was just a matter of time. -2147483648/10 experience, the absolutely WORST ANTI-USER PRACTICE I'VE EVER SEEN.

Same . I tried all the previous things but finally the reinstall of windows is what did it . I did have to go back in and click switch from s mode but then it finally didn't give me an error. Spent wayyy too much time having to mess with this but happy I can not use my computer how I want.
