So there is hope. Ridiculous.
Windows 11 - Can't switch out of S mode
When I follow the steps in the Microsoft Store to try to switch out of S mode, all I get is a message:
"Something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade"
and a Try Again button.

2024-06-18T21:21:13+00:00 Hi Kevin,
I'm curious, how many times do you think you tried before it finally worked? I've updated everything I can and have tried it at least 20 times and still get the Try Again.
Thank you,
Tim

2024-06-18T19:59:36+00:00 Been having the same problem since yesterday. Gonna be 24 hours in about 4 hours, so, fingers crossed. Tried everything I've found online. Even disabled security boot. Someone linked a YT video some pages back with a tutorial for turning off S Mode with an account, but I couldn't finish it because I couldn't access my C drive on the advanced settings...other than that, tried everything. Factory reset twice. Hoping it'll work soon, because it was a brand new laptop that I can't return...
