Hello,

When i'm closing a game (especially skull and bones), my pc reboots, i did some digging in the windows event log and i saw that it was this error which was causing the reboot: 0x00000116.

I already tried updating my drivers, formatting my hard drives and updated my bios but i still have this error and i have no idea what to do now.

This sometimes happens, especially when the problem is related to the graphics driver. A BSOD problem occurs, but the BSOD is not displayed. It seems like the computer only freezes and restarts.

From the error you are getting, it is a BSOD issue.

Which procedure did you use to reinstall Windows?

Did you format using an installation media and completely delete the system drive, or did you reset the PC?

I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

I will try this but i never had a BSOD, the computer just freezes and reboots.

Also, since i reinstalled windows and my drivers completely after formating my drive, shouldn't this problem be resolved ?

Your minidumps only mention the driver "nvlddmkm.sys" as the cause of the crashes. This driver belongs to your Nvidia graphics card.

When you reinstalled the Nvidia driver, you downloaded the driver from the Nvidia website?

Before reinstalling the Nvidia driver, did you use the free DDU tool to remove the previous driver?

This ensures a clean installation of the driver and may fix some issues.

If you didn't use DDU, use it to remove the current driver, download the latest driver from the Nvidia website and reinstall it.

    DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...

    Nvidia driver download: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.

See if the system will work stable after this.

If you need a tutorial for using DDU, I recommend the video below.

If the BSOD occurs again after doing this, send the minidump created by it. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

See if your computer is creating minidump files.

    These files are in "C:\Windows\Minidump".

Copy any files you have to your desktop and store them in a ZIP file. Then upload the ZIP file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

Post the link to the ZIP file here so I can have a look.

I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
