Unable to install Windows 11 Update Version 23H2 (KB5036980)

No, the update has not been resolved. I'm ignoring the notification. Maybe when the NEXT version comes out it will work.

Has this been resolved yet? I even tried reinstalling windows 11 but it just takes an hour, says there was an error, and that no changes were made.

does the "WINDOWSLATEST" domain beling to microsoft? ive never heard of it.... IT IS obviously not run by Windows or AFFILIATES!

Tried the above options. Method 1 did not fix the problem . For Method 2 - System is looking for some parameters for the below Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old
Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old .

For Method 3 I am getting the error - This update is not applicable to your computer

Please advise as my system is non-complaint

I contacted M$ online help, and the operator I reached ended up installing a "custom" form of Windows 11. It worked, but two weeks later, my laptop died.
