WHAT?
The feature was always present in previous Windoze and now we need to ?add? the feature back. This is a lack of respect towards MS customers.

Hello,
I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.
Thanks

This is an appalling decision by Microsoft. Shame on the developers for taking away configurability! Not to mention IGNORING the feedback/requests from users for OVER THREE YEARS! I've been using a left-hand dock/taskbar for decades and my productivity will TANK without it. As so many users have pointed out, the vertical space on monitors is already too short and interferes with seeing full-height documents. I'm a human factors engineer and you've destroyed the ergonomics and usability of your OS. I've been forced to update by my employer and they've also disabled the feedback feature. This is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY.
Please update the OS to allow for the taskbar to move to the right or left side. I have had mine on the right side for years and the fact that I can't move it from the bottom just makes me dislike MS yet again....
I have used the task bar at the side of the screen for years and it's really frustrating not to be able to move it.
I code hospital letters and quite often, the bottom of the letter is unreadable because the task bar is there.
Why has the decision to move it been taken away. I can't see why it isn't user choice.
Please change it. I don't like hiding the task bar as it's unreliable and frustrating.
Thank you
Please, everyone make sure you continue to use Feedback hub to push for this change. Microsoft post a reply which is glib and meaningless but at least they appear to respond.
However they have reset the upvote count so it is down to 540 when it used to be thousands. Even if you have done it before go back and check if you can do it again. The number needs to reflect how many are wanting the move taskbar feature restored.
