We do not care about Microsoft's poor design choices, bring back this wonderful feature I used in Windows 10, Linux Ubuntu or Mac OS.
Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?
Hello,
I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.
Thanks

2024-12-31T16:54:13+00:00 There is no evidence that Microsoft pay any attention to this forum , particularly since the introduction of the Feedback Hub.
It is important that everyone who has an input on this problem adds their complaint onto the Feedback Hub. A few months ago I checked the hub and it had thousands of complaints with a response from Microsoft over a year before that. Today I see that there is another response which says exactly the same and all the upvotes have been removed, it now only lists 74 upvotes.
We need as many people as possible to respond with an individual complaint and start building up the upvotes as well. 17 pages on a forum Microsoft pay no attention to is not going to do anything.

2024-12-31T17:17:01+00:00 I want to be able to MOVE the taskbar Microsoft should have NEVER taken that feature out. they need to put it back in as an option. if it is because it does not have the capability with all the other BS they loaded into the program then they need to make room for us that our brains do NOT function well with a task bar on the bottom. This NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2025-01-02T14:33:26+00:00 Yes, please fix this. I need to hide the taskbar and it doesn't work. This is a terrible design flaw.
No design flaw here:
There are use cases where the entire vertical dimension of the screen needs to be accessible by the app and not blocked by the taskbar. Apps on their own cannot extend below where the taskbar would had been even when it auto-hides.
