Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Totally agree with you... 11 is a downgrade and not an upgrade

For anyone who shares screen a lot or does demos, this is the most ignorant "design decision" that could be made. The community should have been polled before such poor choices are made.

Yes please issue this feedback, I understand they took the decision to make the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, as usual - but why remove the option to move when there's a decent percentage of users making use of the ability to relocate the taskbar - it's an option that people wouldn't accidentally come by so the users utilising the feature are doing so because it is useful.

As others has said this creates a drop in my productivity and is detrimental to my health as the design is no longer ergonomic for the extended periods I'm looking at the computer at work.

Please reinstate the option to relocate your taskbar.

Unfortunately this a community helpdesk, there is no evidence that Microsoft even look at this let alone respond to it.

In fact there is little evidence that they pay much attention to the feedback hub which is their nominated channel of communication, I don't count the limited platitudes they add to feedback given as a constructive response. The one covering this issue has been ignored for over a year now.

Design choice of MS is not practical . If you would locate taskbar on left or right side you may squeze more apps horizontally and and read the app/file names on the same time.
