Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

    Windows ME all over again, just implementing a bunch of executive design choices that no one asked for that hurt usability and strip away the little personalization that was still available in the OS. Utter failure to understand design, which should be UX driven and not based on the whims of some idiot marketing executive.

    Currently figuring out whichLinux distro I should be using on my personal computer before they foist this on my personal life. It's already bad enough I'll have to tolerate this for 45 hours a week at work.

    Just what I was thinking. Windows ME all over again. So, when does Windows 12 launch? Just got Windows 11 installed by the company. Don't like it already. To not be able to adjust the Taskbar, are you kidding me?

    I must admit it is a design failure on Microsoft's part to not enable moving the taskbar. Clearly, they did not deem important enough to code for it. Even if the design of the new Start menu requires placement at the bottom, surely it can also work at the top of the screen, too.

    Me too. Having the taskbar fixed at the bottom is especially bad if you are a touchscreen laptop in tablet mode and writing on it. It's impossible to write without leaning on the taskbar with your wrist which means you keep launching other applications by mistake even with the taskbar on autohide. Given that more and more people have these 2-in-1 laptops and more and more are writing on touch screens with pens especially in the education and business environment this is a growing issue. It annoys me about 20 times a day.

    Microsoft - please fix this

    What is really annoying is when the Windows Insider Program update email drops.

    Full of all these wonderful new features introduced such as the latest with Hello improvements, Studio and Teams yet they can't step back and look at a fundamental issue such as restoring the functionality broken by the introduction of Windows 11.

    Come on Microsoft, take time out from the pretty bells and whistles and revisit the basics in the Desktop environment.
