Can you at least give us the option of moving it to the top of screen? It seems all the same flow and design issues would be resolved as the location is just the mirror of having it at the bottom of the screen. Plus, that mimics the Mac OS where is a control bar at the top of the screen. This option would be super helpful, especially for those users who have put off upgrading but now will be forced to with EOL for Windows 10. Thanks.
Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?
Hello,
I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.
Thanks

2024-11-15T14:10:43+00:00 Unfortunately Microsoft seem to pay little heed to this forum, in fact they have shown almost as little interest to the feedback hub either.
On there the original complaint has had one response over a year ago despite 23000 upvotes:
"We'll be continuing to evolve Windows 11 and its features based on feedback like this, so thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback!"
Some up to date feedback from Microsoft would be useful

2024-11-15T14:50:26+00:00 Unfortunately, you are right. Wanting feedback is always lip service for these companies. They don't really mean it. They have a plan and will only course correct if there is a hewn cry among the little people such that it impacts their quarterly profits. Microsoft does not have that problem. They don't care. They don't need to care. And, in their defense, most of their UI decisions work well for most people. But here is one that could be improved for many people.

2024-11-15T15:47:13+00:00 I just feel they are in a monopoly situation and just do what they want in a power trip mode.
They can't come out with an excuse like "technical difficulties"... it's been there for so long...
I can understand if they remove an old protocol or something that's not in use, but personnalisation ?
Maybe we'll get an answer.... we'll see

2024-11-16T11:23:17+00:00 That´s why I didn´t see myself moving to win 11 at all...however, my dear special laptop did that behind my back...reversing it right now sorry, Microsoft! It sucks! to live in a limited environment like all new coming versions of MS´s Windows OSes.
