Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

Thanks

    Hi there,

Allowing the taskbar on the side is a big advantage and therefore Microsoft should have this made available. Besides that it is more convenient for some, it also comes with the practical benefit of showing more open windows that I can select from before they get stacked.

Usually softwares get smarter and offer more options, not less. I don't understand why Microsoft wants to decide on my behalf what is better for me. It should be as customizable as possible because people work differently and it should be all about efficiency for the users who pay for the software.

We understand it's a "design choice". The point is, that there's no functional reason why this should be the case. We don't use windows to be locked into subjective design choices like Apple users.
    MICROSOFT NEEDS TO FIX THIS.
They will have to pry Windows 10 out of my cold, _____ hands if they don't fix this and the awful choice to bury all the good options on the context menu behind a new context window.

    1. I have been using Windows for years and have always preferred the taskbar on the right side of my screen. Why has this option been removed in Windows 11?
    2. Is there a workaround or hidden setting to enable moving the taskbar to the left, right, or top in Windows 11?
    3. What is the rationale behind removing this customization option in Windows 11? Is there a plan to reintroduce it in a future update?
