Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

    I have placed the taskbar at the top of the screen for as long as I can remember - through many iterations of Windows... As soon as I bought my first W11 machine (earlier this year) I was dismayed that I couldn't re-locate the taskbar. The default of Centre-Bottom I assume is to attract MacOS users...?

    I now find that if I want to move the mouse to the bottom of the screen to move the horizontal scrollbar of a maximised window often results in the hidden Taskbar popping up - very annoying!

    This is a productivity killer for us because we have a larger widescreen on top and a smaller screen on the bottom. This gives us a small task bar at the bottom. Job ergonomics are not optimal.

    Our org recently upgraded to Win 11, and so far my experience with Win 11 has been fine except for this unfathomable change.

    I've hade a left taskbar for a couple of decades and find it essential for my productivity at work. I have so many things going on at any given time - numerous apps, PuTTY sessions, docs, mail, etc. The left taskbar enabled me to view a list of my open items, with their name, so I could navigate between them easily. Not having this is really a disaster. I used to use DisplayFusion for multi-monitor left-side taskbars until Windows got good at it, but my org no longer allows people to install third party software so I don't have a fallback any longer.

    It's hard to comprehend why this capability was removed, and I sure hope they bring it back. There is no good alternative for working with a lot of open items.

    Please provide feedback on my behalf as well... moving the taskbar to the right side is extremely helpful... i need this option back!!!

    Yes, please elevate this issue for those of us whose businesses have disabled the Feedback Hub. This seemingly small change is making the new windows 11 miserable.
