Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Perhaps we should all show up at a Shareholders meeting. I suspect many if not most of us own at least one share of stock. We can take our complaint to the top of the organization and publicly.

Hello, thank you for your answer and YES, give the feedback to Microsoft.... I see no logical reason for this change of behaviour/settings...

The option was already there... so did they loose something by having this available for users all this time?

Sadly, Microsoft is in a monopoly state and think they can just do what they want... and users will get used to it..... that is the only way I can think of this..

If people had bought only Apple products 30-40 years ago.... not sure we'd still be hearing about them... they should be a little more concions of this and show consideration

Currently, you can only change the taskbar alignment from the default "Center" to "Left" by going to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors.

If you want Microsoft to add this feature in the future, you can provide feedback using the Feedback Hub by pressing the Windows key + F.

Yes, please send feedback. Microsoft should really reconsider the features it removes during their version changes. Maybe get feedback BEFORE launching new versions. This is one of the main reasons why the public is often reluctant to hop on the "New Version" band-wagon! As a matter of fact I'm contemplating moving over to a Linux based OS. I've been a faithful Microsoft user and supporter for 3 decades. Now, I'm tired of Microsoft not considering input from it's user's and shoving it down throats by killing support for Windows 10. We are who counts in the end.

Ok, I must ask why is an answer provided to a question I never asked. I never asked how to align the taskbar items, but how to move the taskbar. Am writing it in plain English. I already submitted feedback, but as a windows user since 1990s, and Microsoft shareholder as well, a small portfolio portion versus its competitors, I know Microsoft has a cognitive obtuse inability to listen to its users. There are millions os search queries on moving the taskbar and they are not getting it.

Let me decide how my screen should be laid out. Like most folks, my screen is horizontal/landscape format so having the taskbar on the right/vertical gives me more viewing space. It's quicker for a right-handed user to have the taskbar on the right, and for left-handed to have it on the left. Give us control back - I will not upgrade beyond Windows 10 until this glaring example of ignorance of user-needs is fixed. Thanks
