Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

I researched MS comments regarding this and their main point was that it was too costly and would take too much development time.

Bring it back! Mac has it right. All other menus are at top so we should be able to have task bar at top. Basic UX. For me it's also an issue of my repetitive stress injury. More mouse movement is tough on me. This hard design feature makes it harder for people with disabilities to use Windows. Nice work Microsoft!

We have around a dozen machines scattered about and all run 10, with the newer ones downgraded from 11 to 10. All users prefer TBaT and this is their choice of course. We are working on a security solution to continue 10 after EoS in November, and believe a custom firewall solution is the answer. Long live TBaT and unfortunately, a dozen people using Windows - do not want !!. All were asked to try it and basically within seven days they vomited over it. It truly is the most unfortunate step backwards which mankind ever took. I can prove this - more 10 are installed than 11 sold. Wake up M$ - it's a disaster being hidden behind bonuses. They all want their bonuses, if you know what I mean. Look boss, that's a mirage, everyone here knows that icebergs melt and that one has. It's not here OK. We built the most pathetic GUI ever and love ramming it down users throats. Most give up on it within 10 days but we have a wonderful hardcore of idiots who don't know or understand anything and they keep us in the bonuses which make our jobs and lives so wonderful. Windows 11, a death by fools.

I would be using Linux (as I do in my personal life) but this is my work PC and they do not allow third party programs.

Say Hello to more STUPID decisions by MS to further CONTROL (Not enhance) OUR "Experience"

To remove this feature serves no purpose whatsoever other than to infuriate high-level users who actually know how to do IT, coding, and use a computer to its fullest potential.

This is not only a completely unnecessary change, it actually is SLOWING me down with getting to tasks, windows, etc which I have been using for literally 30 years.

Once again, MS (and other so-called developers) make changes WITHOUT regard to the end-users, and then try to peddle it off as a way to simplify the user experience?

Obviously MS doesnt care one bit about proficiency amongst those of us who actually set up our work-stations to be the most efficient and work-friendly as possible.

Thanks once again MS for screwing up a good thing - Another reason I use Classic Shell, and will now piggy-back on a 3rd party program to restore MY ability to have MY best "user experience".

This is why we need real programmers back in charge, and not these youngsters who think they are "developing" apps (formerly knows as PROGRAMS).

Change is good...when its done to improve not restrict the end users.
