Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

    I'd like to join the mob about the taskbar being locked to the bottom of the screen. File Explorer has views, edits, all functions on the top . Excel, Word, Internet all function on the top. Locking the taskbar to the bottom is silly at best and an offense to efficiency at worst.

    Do better, Microsoft.

    PLEASE put the functionality back to allow users to move the taskbar to the sides or top of the screen. I am frustrated with it being at the bottom when I have had it moved to the top for so many years.

    Yes

    please

    allow

    to move

    taskbar

    to the

    side.

    You see

    screens

    can be tall

    for vertical

    viewing

    which

    doesn't

    allow

    much room

    for systems

    and app

    tabs. And

    windows can be very wide

    that allows

    for vertical

    stacking

    of whole

    words

    that shoiw

    specific file

    names of

    the file

    open in an

    app. Rather than

    a cryptic icon.

    This is

    a very short

    sighted miss

    by MS.

    We definitely all work differently. That's why we need a flexible taskbar (and system) that can be adjusted to our style and needs. On behalf of a lot of people here and myself, I kindly ask Microsoft colleagues to look into this option and let us, the users, choose the way we want to use the taskbar and organize our work. Thank you in advance.

    I, too, are keen to join in on this feedback! Most ergonomic assessments recommend the taskbar be moved to the top or side of the screen to prevent people having further neck issues by looking down all the time! I have neck issues and it helps me significantly to have the taskbar at the top of the screen (or right side).
