Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Can you please explain why the ability to move the taskbar was removed? This is extremely unhelpful for people trying to avoid OLED burn in and seems to be another one of Microsoft's recent 'bad choices'.

It is very obvious that it was removed as a function as "a deliberate design choice" because it didn't remove itself, but I would like to know why.

Yes please, but I really wonder if someone cares.

Unfortunately this appears to be a fundamental problem on some 2-in-1 laptops, the kind that folds the lid completely back to allow the screen to stand alone in front of the folded-back keyboard. When opening the lid fully, the screen autorotates as it should but the display leaves a horizontal band at the top of the screen irrespective of whether the the taskbar is set to automatically hide. In this way the the full display does not exploit the full vertical screen height. The taskbar stays at the bottom in front of the hidden taskbar and the user loses this valuable screen space because the display should move upward to use the full vertical span of the screen. The taskbar does pop up, but still at the bottom and eats into the display space while leaving the empty band at the top. This happens on my brand new Win 11 Dell Latitude 7440 14 2-in-1. with the latest driver updates from Intel and Dell. Please can you approach MS on behalf of all users who experience this? We suggest adding an option for 2-in-1 laptops to be allowed to move the taskbar to the top of the screen area to not leave an unused horizontal band at the top. Thank you.
