Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Yes please issue this feedback, I understand they took the decision to make the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, as usual - but why remove the option to move when there's a decent percentage of users making use of the ability to relocate the taskbar - it's an option that people wouldn't accidentally come by so the users utilising the feature are doing so because it is useful.

As others has said this creates a drop in my productivity and is detrimental to my health as the design is no longer ergonomic for the extended periods I'm looking at the computer at work.

Please reinstate the option to relocate your taskbar.

At my work the change to Windows 11 a hate it really. Why I can custumize my taskbar more and more Windows it's trying to look like MAC.

Me too. Having the taskbar fixed at the bottom is especially bad if you are a touchscreen laptop in tablet mode and writing on it. It's impossible to write without leaning on the taskbar with your wrist which means you keep launching other applications by mistake even with the taskbar on autohide. Given that more and more people have these 2-in-1 laptops and more and more are writing on touch screens with pens especially in the education and business environment this is a growing issue. It annoys me about 20 times a day.

Microsoft - please fix this

I must admit it is a design failure on Microsoft's part to not enable moving the taskbar. Clearly, they did not deem important enough to code for it. Even if the design of the new Start menu requires placement at the bottom, surely it can also work at the top of the screen, too.
