cloned OS drive "System Reserved" partition Not 100% afterwards.

Hi,

I cloned my OS drive twice to move to a newer hardware. But the last time, it seems the "System Reserved" partition of the drive had some issues.  1st: it is not showing "System Reserved" on that partition.  2nd: the following attributes "system, Active, MBR" are not on it and shows only "Primary".  My PC still boots up, but the whole purpose of this exercise was to get compatible to install Windows 11 and upgrade the OS drive with new and faster hardware.  My questions are:

Is there anything I can do to fix it other than re-installing the OS?

Is this going to cause any issue with upgrade to Windows 11?

    Hi Ramesh,

Thanks again, that is much better, see below the output. Would you also, tell me how do I find the required "/map", values for the source and the destination : [/map:<source>=<destination>] ?

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>MBR2GPT /validate /disk:1 /allowFullOS

MBR2GPT: Attempting to validate disk 1

    MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk

MBR2GPT: Validating layout, disk sector size is: 512 bytes

    MBR2GPT: Validation completed successfully

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>

    Regards,

    Givi

    Hi Givi,

See if MBR2GPT can now validate Disk 1.

Yes, select the 500 MB partition and click the Delete button. Or, right-click the partition and click "Delete Volume"

    Hi Ramesh,

This was a good news, the output is posoitive. So, then just left click on that partion and choose "delete Volume"?

    Hi Givi,

Thanks. Please run the following command from admin Command Prompt:

    • bcdboot C:\Windows /s C: /f ALL

    See if that helps.

Also, delete the following partition so that the MBR2GPT can use that space for the EFI partition.
