(KB5039211) refuses to install

2024-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5039211)

This update will not successfully apply, goes through the usual dialogs only to fail on restart and undo the changes.

I've tried SFC and DISM with no results.

Any help is appreciated.

    Didn't work for me.

    The error is:

    Windows 10 Setup

    "We can’t tell if your PC is ready to continue installing Windows 10. Try restarting Setup."

    Restarted in safe mode. SFC, DISM, Chkdsk, stop services, restart services, etc. etc. Nothing.

    Hello everyone! Did anyone manage to fix the error with the update?

    The only way to fix this is an upgrade in place using the Media Creation tool (Video tutorial if needed.)

    Small update:

    I did an upgrade in place using the media creation tool, and was able to install the previously failing updates.

    Had to reapply a ton of my settings. It's been a loooooooooooong morning. But it's fixed now :)
