The most recent Windows 10 updates stop my Roland GX24 cutter from working.

Is anyone aware that this is happening?

An issue caused by a recent Windows security update (version KB5039211) has disrupted communication between some Roland DGA drivers and their connected devices, primarily affecting cutters and engravers. As a temporary solution, Roland Care advises uninstalling this specific Windows update.

To uninstall the updates,

a. Go to Settings.

b. Select Windows Update and Security.

c. Select Update history.

d. Click Uninstall updates.

e. select the update installed - "Double-Click “Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5039211)”

f. Click on “Yes” to uninstall.

g. Once uninstalled, restart your computer.

    We have this same issue on Windows 10.

    Can't find the update KB5039211 so also not able to uninstall it.

    As a workaround we can only print up untill 250 in lenght but this is not doable.

    everything above 250 does not print.

    While running Windows 10:

    I had same issues not finding Update KB5039211. I 1st postponed any updates for as long as I can. Slowly one by one uninstall updates and reboot computer, then test cutter. Stop uninstalling when cutter finally works. I have been checking the Roland support website and they haven't come up with a solution yet. I had a nasty mandatory update from Microsoft saying if I didn't update Windows would stop working. So I did update and the cutter stopped working so I then re-postponed updates and uninstalled the updates one by one until the cutter worked.

    Uninstalled updates include:

    KB5040427

    KB5039211

    KB5039893

    KB5041580

    Hope this helps. So far windows is still working properly and cutter is working properly.

    I have had to uninstall every update since this happened and now I can't pause the updates anymore ..... is there anything else I can do now? Thank you in advance.
