In an attempt to remain cordial. Could someone please point me in the direction of an actual working support number, that will have an actual human on the other end. I need to be able to speak to someone for the help I need because it’s a complicated issue I don’t exactly know how to explain, and poorly constructed drop down windows unfortunately have not helped aid in my quest for a solution in any way, shape, or form, for the past two hours…. And that’s just the time I’ve spent trying to find out how to actually speak to someone for help…. So can I please get some assistance in this department so I can fix this computer, and continue my work.

I have another account and had to buy a new subscription because I can't access the one on the email I don't have. So now I assume Microsoft is just going to keep charging my other subscription (whichbis on a stolen computer so I don't even have/use it) because I can't get into the account to cancel. So now what?

I get a message saying it was recovered and to click on this link to reset password but it goes to a page that asks what account i am trying to recover and when I put the name in it asks for password and then says "that is the wrong code" but it doesn't ask for or send me a code. I have a screenshot but don't know how to upload

    Why is everything so difficult..

Why cant I just call someone and cancel this subscription?? It seems like everyone spends hours trying to do without the simple method of actually getting help??

Unfortunately, you have to forget about calling. Their "phone number" is simply a loop that always ends up telling you to go to the web site. While Microsoft refuses to admit it, they no longer offer free phone support. The only way to get to a real human being and explain the situation is through an online chat with Microsoft. And the only way to contact one is through the instructions I posted on page 4 of this thread. In my case, when I finally figured this out, the Microsoft agent I finally contacted through chat was willing to call me on the phone, which made the whole process a lot easier.
