My pc has been crashing during gaming.

I've had this laptop for a while now, my laptop is also approx 4 years old, idk if this may be the cause of my problems. Most games I play crash and it's related to my GPU.

I've pretty much tried everything except for reading my "Event Viewer" errors. I was wondering if someone could help me read through these errors. This is my error viewer log, I've already filtered error, warning, and critical.

If you want to know about my drivers, I've installed newer versions from intel and manufactuer websites, since the asus website for my drivers are 3-4 years old.

    Please send a screenshot of the error displayed when the game crashes.

    Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool. Or take a picture of the screen using a smartphone and send it.

    yes, it was the just the game that crashed. It gives me gpu error message.

    These "DistributedCOM" errors do not appear to be related to a system or game crash.

    I don't see any entries that indicate a system crash.

    Was it just the game that crashed?

    If yes, is an error message displayed, or does the game just close (go to the desktop)?

    Yes, I ran a game and it game the errors you see in the new google drive file. These should be the errors after the crash. ignore the highlight.Image

    Do not update the Nvidia driver using any source other than Asus. Stick with the latest version provided by Asus.

    If you use GeForce Experience, disable automatic update download in the application settings.

    I don't see new entries with errors regarding the GPU. The last GPU error recorded is at 16:38 (UTC) today, the same entry as the first log you shared.

    Sorry for using UTC time. The event viewer translates the time to my time zone. Since I don't know your time zone, I used UTC. If you need to, search for "UTC time now" in a search engine.

    Has your PC crashed again since installing the Asus Nvidia driver?
