i have done this now msconfig wont open anymore , I am so frustrated from yesterday neither my updates are downloading nor my windows is resetting when i perform inplace update the following error shows.
My computer will not download the latest windows update.

In my settings it says that the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442) and the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5039895) is ready to be downloaded and installed but as I proceed with the update it keeps saying there was an error and the update will not install. I have tried restarting my PC and looking in my bios to find a problem but my troubleshooting has not worked.

What do you mean by msconfig does not open? Any errors?
What's your BIOS version? Updating the BIOS and the chipset drivers can solve the error message in your screenshot.

2024-07-24T08:04:21+00:00 I also strugle wit this update (2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5040431). It downloaded perfectly stated to install but stays at Installing - 74%. Never progres any furter, even after a restart.
