In my settings it says that the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442) and the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5039895) is ready to be downloaded and installed but as I proceed with the update it keeps saying there was an error and the update will not install. I have tried restarting my PC and looking in my bios to find a problem but my troubleshooting has not worked.

A couple days ago an update was installed that seemed to correct the failed install issue, 2023-11 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057). All updates since have been successful.
However, I find it a bit strange that in my update history, all records of the previous failed updates are now removed or hidden from record, so this history appears to have been lost...any idea why this isn't listed or why this needs to be covered up?
Try the offline installer.

I also strugle wit this update (2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5040431). It downloaded perfectly stated to install but stays at Installing - 74%. Never progres any furter, even after a restart.

Just a last comment before i unsubscribe, i did the reset via recovery and after that i could install the updates.
