DRIVERS.zip this is my drivers hive, it gave me config registry database is corrupt
Windows update failed (Install error 0x800703f1)
So ive had this problem for a long time now.. Windows update will not install and my firewall will not turn on (grayed out). I did a scan in the CMD and it says there is missing or corrupted files. I tried to do a ton of fixes on it an nothing is working. Also my firewall says "update your firewall settings but when i try to click on the use recommended setting its shoots me another error code (0x8007045b). I have a feeling that those 2 problems are connected can anyone help me?
Note: Ive also tried these in the powershell but that didnt work either.

Then, download DRIVERS.zip, unzip and copy it to C:\Windows\System32\Config. Overwrite the original one.

2024-11-14T18:39:33+00:00 Hello Ramesh, I have the same problem with Windows update. I ran the "reg load HKLM\COMPONENTS c:\windows\system32\config\components" query and received the response " The configuration registry database is corrupt" response. The other query responded with "The operation completed successfully".
Based on this thread is sounds like there is a problem with the drivers file, can you help?

Hi Vance,
The components hive is corrupt. Please share the file "c:\windows\system32\config\components".
