So ive had this problem for a long time now.. Windows update will not install and my firewall will not turn on (grayed out). I did a scan in the CMD and it says there is missing or corrupted files. I tried to do a ton of fixes on it an nothing is working. Also my firewall says "update your firewall settings but when i try to click on the use recommended setting its shoots me another error code (0x8007045b). I have a feeling that those 2 problems are connected can anyone help me?

Note: Ive also tried these in the powershell but that didnt work either.

net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver

    HI King_iiii, This is Ramesh.

From the admin Command Prompt, please run the following commands:

    reg load HKLM\COMPONENTS c:\windows\system32\config\components

    reg load HKLM\DRIVERS c:\windows\system32\config\drivers

One of them might throw an error code. Post the error code or the screenshot here so that we can troubleshoot it.

Once we fix the updates issue, we'll address the Firewall error.

I have this very same issue, would you be available to look at my "components" file as well?
