In-place upgrade: I have downloaded the ISO, but there is no "Mount" option anywhere
Problem after update
After an update on 15 August (I think), one of the users (admin) gets a recurring screen (http://ventre-a-pattes.net/bug.jpg) and cannot work. Two other accounts (one admin, one not) do not have the problem, a third one (not admin) does too. I tried to uninstall all recent items, ran update again, nothing works. Thanks for any suggestion.

2024-09-01T14:32:20+00:00 Forgot what it was, but the default app for .iso was not Explorer. Fixed it and ran the upgrade.
Currently in clean boot mode. Now my account displays the same horror as the main one did previously, and the main one is purely black.

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to hear that the problem seems to have gotten worse after you tried the in-place upgrade and clean boot.
We have determined that this is most likely a serious file error or missing files on the system and we can only recover by reinstalling the system. Please refer to the following steps
1 Take out your hard disk from your computer and plug it into another computer, make a backup of the data inside, after the backup, format it and plug it back into your computer.
2 Use a USB drive to make a system installation media, plug it into your computer, then boot up your computer, and under the guidance of the motherboard manual or device manufacturer, enter the BIOS setup page, set the system installation media (USB drive) made earlier as the boot device, and reinstall the system in this way.

2024-09-02T08:33:29+00:00 Hi Zev
Would hate to do this.
No other computer. External drives yes, but to me if some users (like this one) can work normally it cannot be a global problem.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that you now have some of your accounts available.
For now we can only fix it by reinstalling Windows, if you would like, please backup your data and then refer to the following link

I understand if you don't want to, after all, the problem hasn't completely disabled you, so to avoid the same problem in subsequent use, which would make data in some accounts inaccessible, please back up your data separately for different accounts.
