Problem after update

After an update on 15 August (I think), one of the users (admin) gets a recurring screen (http://ventre-a-pattes.net/bug.jpg) and cannot work. Two other accounts (one admin, one not) do not have the problem, a third one (not admin) does too. I tried to uninstall all recent items, ran update again, nothing works. Thanks for any suggestion.

Got a fit of panic: after restarting, this account too was black. Second trial succeeded.

OneDrive not evident, you can get the file on http://ventre-a-pattes.net/082323-13671-01.dmp

    Hi EricYL.

Thank you for your reply. I understand you have a BSOD on one of your accounts. please refer to the below scenario to find the blue screen logs and share them with us, I helps us to help you further to solve the problem.

You can get the blue screen logs for small dmp files by following these steps:

    1 Tap on Window+R and type sysdm.cpl

2 Go to System Properties and tap on the Advanced tab

3 Find Startup and Fault Repair, tap Settings

4 In Write debug information, select Small memory storage.

    The following directory will become

    %SystemRoot%\Minidump

You can memorize this location and if you experience the blue screen again, you can restart your computer and enter this location into Explorer, you can see the .DMP file created under the folder, share this file with us via OneDrive (please refer to the link below)

If you are not using OneDrive, please also let me know and I will initiate a private message with you where you can upload the blue screen logs to me.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Hello Zev

Originally, the admin account was the common one that now gets the BSOD, but I have been able to upgrade this one, that is (currently) still working.

And there is no organization, this is a private device.

    Regards

    EricYL

    Hi EricYL.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that you are not the administrator account of the computer.

What is your OS version? You can check it by searching “System information” in the search box on the taskbar.

Also, is your computer under the administration of an organization? If you are not an administrator, many operations are likely to be restricted, and it is best to perform the repair steps in an administrator account. If you are not an administrator, please contact the administrator of this computer to help you solve this problem.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Best regards,

    Thanks

To start with, the account I created is no admin, but since I have been able to up this one, I don't think it matters.

System restore: I hoped to be able to go back before the updates, but I had only one restore point (one day earlier).

    File check: nothing

    C:\Windows\System32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    …
[==========================100.0%==========================] No component store corruption detected.
    The operation completed successfully.
    C:\Windows\System32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    …
    No component store corruption detected.
    The operation completed successfully.
    C:\Windows\System32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    …
[==========================100.0%==========================] The restore operation completed successfully.
    The operation completed successfully.
    C:\Windows\System32>SFC /Scannow
    …
    Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

In-place upgrade: as I rather dislike the look of the new account, I will postpone this as long as possible.

As for the bookmarks (Firefox) I have been able to copy the profile to this account.
