OK so how do i allocate more RAM to windows. How do i enable Minidumps?
The RAM issue i am having is it simply wont use more ram. I have tried watching YouTube tutorials and how they reset the maximum ram number.
but it keeps saying 8.00gb installed- 3.80gb usable.
Now the biggest problem i have: I am loading Minecraft with Opti Fine and a shader pack installed. I have an AMD Radeon 7950 with the latest AMD Radeon Adrenalin engine installed. So, whenever i load these shaders, the game crashes and says: Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of windows.( I can link the full crash report if you want) And I did try to enable minidumps in the control panel and that didn't do anything.
So yeah. My PC needs serious help.

If you purchase RAM for the new motherboard:
a) Select RAM modules displayed on the QVL
b) Purchase in pairs with matching SKU
c) Consider RAM manufacturers that guarantee compatibility
d) Consider RAM manufacturers that have lifetime warranties

I know for a fact that the ram sticks all work in the first slot but not in the second slot as i showed in the post earlier. Its probably most likely that my second RAM slot is broken. If i put and 8gb stick in the first slot and it still halves it I know it would be a software problem. So I ordered a new motherboard and if the problem still persists i will reply on the forum.
Install one RAM module and test with Memtest86+ version 5.31b ( https://www.memtest.org/ ) for 8 or more passes > take pictures with a camera or smartphone camera > post images into the thread
Test all RAM modules in the same DIMM for 8 or more passes.
If the single RAM module and DIMM pass then test every DIMM with the same RAM module.
If the single RAM module and DIMM fail then test another RAM module in all DIMM.
When the above steps have completed all 4 DIMM should have been tested.
Make sure there are at least 8 passes / test.
The testing is done not by time but by passes.
The more passes the better the testing conditions.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
Memtest86+ version 5.31b testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM

Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
A significant portion of the testing can be performed overnight.

That might be an issue because I can't get my computer to boot with any ram in the second dimm slot. Oh and I also only have two dimm slots not four

Windows consistently has reported 4 Dimm.
Each task manager image displayed 4 Dimm: Slots used 2 of 4
And the script displayed 4 Dimm.
Please take pictures and post images into the thread.
