OK so how do i allocate more RAM to windows. How do i enable Minidumps?
The RAM issue i am having is it simply wont use more ram. I have tried watching YouTube tutorials and how they reset the maximum ram number.
but it keeps saying 8.00gb installed- 3.80gb usable.
Now the biggest problem i have: I am loading Minecraft with Opti Fine and a shader pack installed. I have an AMD Radeon 7950 with the latest AMD Radeon Adrenalin engine installed. So, whenever i load these shaders, the game crashes and says: Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of windows.( I can link the full crash report if you want) And I did try to enable minidumps in the control panel and that didn't do anything.
So yeah. My PC needs serious help.

a) Select RAM modules displayed on the QVL
b) Purchase in pairs with matching SKU
c) Consider RAM manufacturers that guarantee compatibility
d) Consider RAM manufacturers that have lifetime warranties

I updated the share. also i have a chinese cheap motherboard for my system with no website its a Jingsha A88 motherboard and i cannot find anymore information other than the website i bought it from
and it looks like my computer wasnt OK from the day I installed Windows: the first error was windows was not shut down correctly
The logs were dated 5/23/2021.
There were no new BSOD.
The last BSOD was on 4/29/2021
There were many unexpected shutdowns and restarts.
These can be related to:
a) manual power offs
b) malfunctioning hardware with and without BSOD
c) misbehaving drivers causing BSOD
If you keep track of manual power offs you can follow trends using reliability monitor.
For malfunctioning hardware you can swap test components to confirm.
Tom's Hardware / Ten Forums etc. members can help if you're planning to replace components.

What kind of components are we talking about here? i have an extra gt710 and i have that micron stick and two gskill ares sticks
Not having a motherboard manual is a handicap when troubleshooting unexpected shutdowns and restarts.
Incompatible RAM needs to be ruled in or ruled out.
Incompatible RAM can cause both high hardware reserved and unexpected shutdowns and restarts.
A QVL displays RAM that can be used for comparison testing.
Non QVL RAM does not give the needed information until there is installed RAM that has normal hardware reserved and no unexpected shutdowns and restarts.
So the missing QVL makes testing harder.
RAM testing tests for errors but is not designed to test RAM incompatibility.
