Remove Inaccessible Computers from Link to Windows App on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

I don't think it is by design otherwise all the complaints would have forced the change. I contend the "Developers" don't know how to change it. They have stumped themselves

AI would've fixed this annoying issue a very long time ago.

I have the same issue for my new computer

but I found the solution (I place my solution here because RAZVAN-ALEXANDRU ANGHEL was the last person replied on this thread, hope everyone can see my solution and resolve this issue)

to solve this problem

1. go to your phone

settings -> apps -> link to windows -> storage

clear cache and clear data

2. 1. go to your phone

settings -> apps -> link to windows service -> storage

clear cache and clear data

3. restart your phone
4. login to Microsoft to remove the old device from the name you use
   (in my case, I have both new and old devices, and I will remove the old device)

(after you remove all old devices, your Microsoft registered email will only associate with your new device only.)

5. run "windows powershell" as an administrator

execute the following command
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

this command will reinstall phone link from your PC
6. restart your PC
7. reinstall "phone link"

8. open "phone link" app
app will send the notification to your phone to ask permissions
grant the permissions your feel comfortable

make sure both your phone and pc bluetooth are on when you link them.

Otto, if that fixed anything for you, I suspect you must have had a different problem. The list of devices shown for my Microsoft account is correct (at https://account.microsoft.com/devices ). The problem is ONLY with the data that Microsoft uses to sync to "Link to Windows" on the Android device (Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in my case:).

This would require some way to access the Phone Link/Link to Windows data on the MS server. NONE of those steps would have any effect on that. Your first steps clear everything off the phone, but as soon as you sign back in to the Microsoft account, all the PCs instantly return. For the last part, using PowerShell, that's obviously impossible if the computer is broken, sold, stolen, or otherwise not available leaving no way to run the command on the PC that appears more than once.

Unless someone has a way to access the list of PCs stored on the MS Server specifically for Link to Windows (Phone Link on the PC), I don't see how there's anything we can do but wait for Microsoft to fix this or clear the history.

I agree. I have tried everything; uninstalled Link to Windows from my phone, deleted my Microsoft account from the phone, uninstalled Phone Link from my computer ... Nothing helps. I think the information must be stored on Microsoft's servers somewhere, and we need a way to edit that information.

My phone is at service for the moment, but I have considered rooting the phone to see if I can find any information stored on the phone. It is not necessarily recommended to do this, and I actually don’t think that this list of previous PCs is stored on the phone. It should be easy to let us access the list of connected PCs.
