I need assistance removing multiple computers from my Link to Windows app. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. There are 4 computers linked to my Link to Windows app on this phone. These computers are actually previous Windows installations on my current PC. I've reinstalled Windows multiple times on this PC, and I can no longer access these previous installations to disconnect them properly. I need a way to remove these inaccessible computers from my Linked Account.
How can I remove these inaccessible computers from my Link to Windows app on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra without having direct access to the previous Windows installations?

I found a way
Go to Link to Windows > Linked Account
You will see Sign Out in Account Settings
Sign out your account, you will be signed out from all of your devices in your phone's Link to Windows
Reconnect your current computer to your phone
Your old computer should dissapear now
Is it by design? Yes, but that's great! Then they can redesign it so that we users are satisfied.
And they absolutely should do that, as it is simply impossible to understand the purpose of having a long list of computers we have long since sent for recycling, computers we have given away, a number of Windows installations, and perhaps also mobile phones we have disposed of.
I look forward to Microsoft's explanation of why it was a good idea to design the app this way.
Hi there, exact same issues here. Padt linked accounts from computers I no longer have access to still show in the Link to Windows app accounts. Also, windows Phone Link doesn't connect to the Android Link to Windows app.
Please have somebody from Microsoft developing team fix these two issues.
This has been an exercise in futility.
MS knows what the alternative is so they respond accordingly.
This is unacceptable customer service yet that's how they roll.
I agree. I have tried everything; uninstalled Link to Windows from my phone, deleted my Microsoft account from the phone, uninstalled Phone Link from my computer ... Nothing helps. I think the information must be stored on Microsoft's servers somewhere, and we need a way to edit that information.
My phone is at service for the moment, but I have considered rooting the phone to see if I can find any information stored on the phone. It is not necessarily recommended to do this, and I actually don’t think that this list of previous PCs is stored on the phone. It should be easy to let us access the list of connected PCs.
