Trying to boot from a usb stick In win 10 I get the message "Verifying shim SBAT data failed: Security Policy ViolationSomething has gone seriously wrong: SBAT self-check failed: Security Policy Violation" Can someone help me resolve it? Is this from the latest windows update?

This seems to have started right after a win update but I'm not sure if it's a coincident or not. Thanks for any help

    Yes. Another person sent me instructions that have both OS systems working.

    Here are his instructions:

    Amruth DD has replied to the question Verifying shim SBAT data failed: that you are following in Microsoft Support Community.
    Try pressing the F2 key repeatedly immediately after turning on the power. This should open the BIOS menu. Once the BIOS menu opens, navigate to the security/boot option (it may vary depending on the machine) and locate the "Secure Boot" option. Change it to "disabled". Save the changes.<br><br><br><br>This might work.

    I cant even boot my Windows Server 2022 (64-bit) running off of Vsphere into Gpart to expand my hard drive as the System Recovery partition is inbetween the unallocated space and the C: drive.

    Please get this fixed!

    This github answer gives helpful information, and this one too. Hereis a link to may be the best decision, but I haven't tried it yet.

    About Ventoy - this solution (patching the flash drive) works. I don't know how much time. If you have a dual boot system - the link from my previous comment is ok. It makes the UEFI clean, then you reenable secure boot.
