Can't connect to this Wi-Fi after updating windows 11 24H2 update

In previous version of windows 11 i am using wireless network from router but after updating the window 11 24H2 version i can't connect wireless network from router but i can connect smartphone's wifi and router through LAN cable.

I have done all the troubleshooting steps and update fixer, reset network through settings, deleted cache using command prompt and done all things using with forums or troubleshooting but still issue is not resolved.

If anyone can help then please give me suggestions to how to resolve this issue. I hope windows help center connect & give proper response to getting error fix.

    Resetting the TCP/IP stack worked. I was a bit concerned when the flushdns and renew operations returned messages saying they could not be done. This is the second Win 11 computer I have that had a problem after updating with 24H2.

    Option 2 Using a Generic Wi-Fi Driver did the trick for me.

    1. Use a Generic Wi-Fi Driver
      • Go back to Device Manager, and right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter again.
      • Select Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list.
      • Choose a generic driver like Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter or another option listed, and check if it resolves the issue.

    I've just encountered the same issue after updating to 24H2 . It also occurred after 23H2. Both times I was able to resolve it by amending one of the properties for my Wifi driver rather than reinstalling it. The settting 802.11d was enabled, disabling this allowed my laptop to find and connect to my 5GHZ wifi.

    Follow Arvind Kumar's instructions to locate your driver

    • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Network adapters.

    Then
    • Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Properties
    • Select the Advanced tab

    • Select 802.11d and set the value to Disabled

    • Click OK to save the change

    My laptop found my wifi almost immeadiately.

    I was waiting patiently for MS to fix this problem but I was getting older by the day.

    Today I printed off all the suggestions in this thread and reinstalled 24H2. Sure enough the WiFi didn't work. So I started working my way down the list of suggestions provided by Arvind Kumar. The very first item did the job.

    * Uninstall WiFi Adapter - restart computer and let Win install the default driver.

    Got my WiFi back but I'm not sure if this leaves me with the correct driver installed though. The last step says:

    • Restart your PC to allow Windows to reinstall the default driver, or manually download the latest driver from your Wi-Fi adapter or laptop manufacturer’s website.

    So now I have the "default driver" installed. Don't know if that's different from the one that wasn't working. Or it was the same driver but it had been messed up by 24H2 and just needed replacing. Or something.

    Now I'm confident I can get my PC working so I might check out drivers. Maybe go to the manufacturer site and take a look, see if I've got the latest driver.

    I must say this is a bit dodgy. I worked in software development for years and this wasn't hard to do. I'm pretty sure my wife wouldn't be able to do it. And she wouldn't have known that you can roll back upgrades, or even realised the problem had been caused by an upgrade. And without internet connection she would have had no way of finding out. I figured it out by using her computer to search for info about the problem but lots of folks only have one computer.

    Sorry this post got long.
