How do I remove all Copilot and AI related stuff from Windows 11?

Yes, you are right. But I rarely using google applications on my laptop and I do not use apple at all. If Google or Mircosoft (BING) uses KI for searching or creating maps in their cloud, it is o.k for me, but not on my laptop. If chrome uses local KI, I will delete it! But for serious browsing I use Brave.

I fear some day having KI **** on a new android smartphone via google. I'm currently kick all not absolute necessary apps from my smartphone, no banking, no id cart, no paypal, no DHL, using only telephone, internet, mail, railway ticket.

I canceled one bank account because of forcing usage fingerprint. No fingerprint stored on the smartphone. I do not trust google and some day the NSA has my fingerprint.

But no KI on my laptop.

I do not want KI on my laptop, no AI and no Copilot.

I want MS Office only talk to Microsoft because of updates, no other communication with MS.

If I can not eliminate Copilot completely from my laptop, I will eliminate Microsoft products from my laptop at all and will use Linux, Libre Offe, ....

I couldn't agree more. Its the underhanded sneaky way they just install it in the hopes that it will be accepted. No care for their loyal customers.

And especially sympathise with their agents. BUT instead of going through the motions save time by being truthful, not spend 4 hrs trying solve the problem.

It's no wonder the lines are so busy!!!

Speaking as someone who worked all in his life in the Industry for most of the big players, Microsoft have decided to go down this path and are ignoring their customers. They could easily remove Copilot but they choose not to do so.

Having run support and customer teams across EMEA I have some sympathy for the hapless support technicians who are having to "front" this position from Microsoft. They are in a lose/lose position.

Microsoft, at least be honest with your customers. Are you going to make Copilot optional for customers?

I went through the same process today, and even having the technician change everything to Classic version WITHOUT Copilot and being ensured it was not fixed......... I find that this IS NOT THE CASE!!!!!! that is from the time I changed to subscription at about 10.45am this morning till 15.35 this afternoon and it is STILL on copilot. We are being FORCED into AI whether we want it or not!
