How do I remove all Copilot and AI related stuff from Windows 11?

I think this is a pretty sh1tty response, to say the least. I don't know if you were intending to be mean, condescending, difficult, a combination of all of these or something else offensive? "Since Microsoft owns Windows, they get to decide what goes into Windows. And since you own your computer, you get to decide what goes into your computer." We all know that MS has become one of the biggest Monopolies on the planet. But what I find particularly offensive about this response (and the MS "situation"), is that - despite buying these programs - which then SHOULD allow you to decided how they operate on YOUR machine, in your home, Microsoft has taken away the option to not have constant updates, and you are acting like that should just be accepted!

That this has been allowed by all the 100s of governing bodies who should have stepped in by now and prevented software giants making these decisions for us (inherently changing a product from the one that we bought/installed, without our permission), doesn't make it right, the same way that 100s of things that have existed legally in the world even in the last 50 years are not okay. Don't make it sound like someone is being unreasonable for wanting something that they have paid for (and has almost no choice to use in the modern world, unless they're an IT expert and know their other options and/or have the time to investigate and implement) to behave with the options that they choose for themselves. That this particular option happens to be in relation to AI makes this viewpoint even more offensive.

No once Copilot version is on its there for life! Their excuse is that you can disable the Copilot in the latest one.

The technicians wasted HOURS to get it to go back and have said the one older version is now back and I won't have problems.

HOWEVER they either do not know what they are doing and they''believe'' they've sorted the problem OR they're just going through the motions of taking hours to restore it back and JUST LIE and say its sorted.

HOWEVER Copilot is LURKING on my laptop and is still showing active at times.

It's Microsofts way of FORCING one to use this rubbish !!!!!! They know there are TOO MANY NOT WANTING AI!!!!

You can download Office Classic which is free of copilot, is available in UK and US at the same price as Office 360 was pre copilot .

I was offerd a download from Microsoft in US a few deeks ago. Was tempted but had already paid for the Copilot version that is a total dissaster!

However, decided to stick with copilot version for a while as we may have some Legal options in Australia if a class action is instigated or Microsoft is found to have breached consumer law etc!

Just working on ways to minimise its intrusive activities in the short term.

Yes, you are right. But I rarely using google applications on my laptop and I do not use apple at all. If Google or Mircosoft (BING) uses KI for searching or creating maps in their cloud, it is o.k for me, but not on my laptop. If chrome uses local KI, I will delete it! But for serious browsing I use Brave.

I fear some day having KI **** on a new android smartphone via google. I'm currently kick all not absolute necessary apps from my smartphone, no banking, no id cart, no paypal, no DHL, using only telephone, internet, mail, railway ticket.

I canceled one bank account because of forcing usage fingerprint. No fingerprint stored on the smartphone. I do not trust google and some day the NSA has my fingerprint.

But no KI on my laptop.
