Black screen issues on Windows 11 24H2 when ALT+TABing?

So as the title suggests, when I ALT+TAB from a game both of my screens go black for about 4-5 seconds and then work normally.

Is anyone else having this issue and if so, is there a solution?

Version 24H2

Installed on ‎01-‎Sep-‎24

OS build 26100.1591

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.18.0

Latest NVIDIA drivers 560.94 for MSI GeForce RTX™ 3080 SUPRIM X 10G

Latest BIOS 5404 for Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II

    I can confirm. This bug has been in the preview build, reports about it got ignored and now it's in the official build.
    We just can't be sure who's to blame. Microsoft for pushing a buggy update, or Nvidia for not fixing their drivers for many months now...

    I got the same issue.

    Reinstalls drivers, games and windows still the same problem but the 2 to 3 second black screen probaly will be fixed in the next update.

    Then go to page 14/15. It contains 1 line in which Nvidia acknowledges the problem.

    The patch will probably be released next month if you look at nvidia's drivers that are updated every month

    Having the same issue on two machines (somewhat identical) with RTX 3080's with the latest GPU Drivers installed. Have tested DDU (removing the drivers) and install again.

    Rolling back to the previous version of windows resolved the issue.

    Updating back to the NOW RELEASED!? 24H2 has brought the issue back.

    How does something like this pass and make it into the actual release?

    That problem has been like that since they released 24h2 and only affected pc are those using nvidia graphics card all variants all drivers i switched to a lower driver and still the same even those they say the best driver version for nvidia the result are still the same that 5 second delay black screen is quite cumbersome to use

    Hello! 24H2 has been oficially released now, and I installed it yesterday (10/02/2024) but I still have the same problem as the user whom started this forum. Aparently it is happening only with NVIDIA GPUs, and it is not a hardware problem of mine since it was not happening when I was still in 23H2. I understand that it was a preview version before, but now it has been oficially released but the problem remains. What to do?

    Here some of my specs:

    Ryzen 5 5600gt

    NVIDIA 4060 8gbvram

    16GB RAM 3200MHz

    SSD 512gb NVME 2.0

    Windows Pro 24H2
